Listen to the wind calling your name

Sending my heart through the weather

Cause I miss the times we spend together

I can't sing a song

I can't write a poem

Cause every drop of ink

And every word I whisper

Reminds me of you

And how it felt when we were together

I know what you said

But I also know what you mean 

Every look in you eyes

Is saying something to me

It's driving me crazy

This silence of yours

Can't you see that 

No doubt my heart is yours

Is this what you really want

Cause I can't see you in your eyes any more

Your lips are moving 

But I can't understand a word you're saying

Your eyes don't light up anymore

When you see me walk through that door

Did I do something wrong

I didn't realise 

I just hurt someone that I care too much about

Yes it is true I have a short-temper

But I thought you knew better

After all things we've gone through together

So here I am tonight

Sitting alone under the stars

Feeling the seat beside me empty

Without your warmth filing the space

Cause I'm no singer

nor a poet

I can't tell you how much you mean to me

with beautiful words

I can't sing to you how much I care about you

But don't you know 

that I am just not good with words
